Dr. Louai Salah is a consultant dermatologist at East Jeddah General Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is also a visiting dermatologist at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and a visiting lecturer at national medical colleges in Jeddah. Dr. Salah earned his dermatology and venereology board in 2015 from Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, after which, he underwent his fellowship training in 2016 in Laser and Vascular Anomalies Center at Skane University Hospital in Sweden.  He also holds the UEMS - European Board of Dermatology Examination - which he earned in 2016. Dr. Salah has a special interest in laser applications in the skin of color. He has been invited as a speaker to several national and international conferences. He is also active in raising health awareness on social media and has regular popular posts on Instagram and Snapchat promoting skincare and debunking common myths. Dr. Salah has been also an active part of the editorial board of the ESLD newsletter involved directly in proofreading articles as well as a deputy officer in guidelines review.  Dr. Louai has several publications in highly ranked journals in the field of atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and laser. He is a Deputy Officer for Treatment and Guidelines at the European Society for Laser and Energy-Based Devices (ESLD) as well as an Editorial Board member.
